Rapper and breakdancer Teekay (Dennis Kaal) from Eindhoven is known for his flips and controversial vlogs. During the 2021 COVID riots, he gained national attention as a vlog reporter but also ended up briefly in jail. After his sentence, he decided to turn his life around and become a role model for young people, even receiving funding from the mayor to start youth projects.
His short time in prison was a low point but also a turning point—he had learned his lesson. Through public performances, he reconnects with unknown family members, which brings him both comfort and a sense of loss.
Teekay hasn’t seen his mother in Morocco for over ten years. As his funding runs out, he struggles to find ways to support himself. Will he reunite with his mother?
