Join us in Utrecht of the 12th century, where tensions between the emperor, bishop, and residents reach a boiling point. The struggle culminates in the city rights of Utrecht being granted on June 2, 1122. Now, 900 years later, you wander through the remains of the imperial Palace Lofen, the place where Utrecht became a city. Tinker was responsible for the design.

One moment, you find yourself in the bustling city center; the next moment, you’re exploring historical discoveries. Uncover the appearance of the palace by dismantling the scale model yourself, and a projection onto one of the 900-year-old walls takes you on a journey through the history of this beautiful city.
