A two-part series in which Felix Rottenberg returns to Akbarstraat after 20 years. In 2002, he created a documentary series portraying a forgotten immigrant neighborhood marked by failing governance and deep tensions between different communities.
Once labeled “the worst neighborhood in the Netherlands” (Vogelaarwijk number 1), the area has been largely transformed, thanks to extensive urban renewal over the past decade.
